The Last Remnants of Cops, Robbers & Hollywood Cowboys

"The Last Remnants Of Cops, Robbers And Hollywood Cowboys" is a really interesting group of monologues taken from Tom Cavanaugh's experiences in LA. I thought the entire piece was extremely well-written and I enjoyed the performances by the diverse cast of actors. I do hope that this show can be expanded on, because I feel it has a lot of potential and I'd love to see it be made into a full-length play (the stories are that good!). Side note: the goodie bags handed out at the end of the show were... full review

From a Yardie to a Yankee

Sardia Robinson is spectacular in her one woman show "From A Yardie To A Yankee". She beautifully tells the story of her life, beginning with growing up in Jamaica and eventually making her way to the United States. All of the characters she portrays (who are people from her life) are so different and detailed, it's simply incredible to watch. Sardia is a shinning star, an amazing actress and performer--I was completely captivated by her performance the entire time. I cannot wait to see what else... full review

Death By PowerPoint

Death By PowerPoint is fantastic! Brilliantly written with extremely talented actors and great direction, it's a fast-paced, in your face (in a good way!) production. Set up as a competition between four finalists, I never knew quite what to expect next, but I enjoyed every minute of it. There are some really funny parts, but it's actually overall a very thought-provoking piece. You have three chances left to see this clever show, don't miss out! ... full review

Fancy: Secrets from my Bootydoir

My oh my do I LOVE Fancy Jean! The minute Fancy Jean sets foot on the stage she is in total command and boy, what a performance! This was the first time I have ever had the pleasure of seeing Chris Farah perform and she's absolutely incredible! She is hysterically funny and has some amazing pipes on her to boot! A true powerhouse. I can't remember the last time I laughed so hard. If any Fringe show deserves an encore, it's Fancy: Secrets From My Bootydoir! I wish I hadn't seen her last Fringe per... full review

Beau & Aero

Beau & Aero is a charming and beautiful show. It is playful, funny, silly and extremely endearing. David Cantor (Beau) and Amica Hunter (Aero) are gifted performers and entertainers. They have incredible chemistry together and the way they interact with the audience is a delight to watch! The 50 minutes flew by and when it was time for the show to end, nobody wanted to leave. Aero had to come out and tell us we could leave because otherwise we probably would've stayed all day. I wish Beau & Aero ... full review

Women

Women is such a phenomenal show. The talented actresses are perfectly cast. The writing is witty, clever and absolutely hilarious (I was laughing throughout the entire show!). I am a huge fan of Alcott's Little Women and I've seen a number of Girls episodes on HBO, but I feel like even if someone wasn't familiar with either, they would still love every moment of Women (because it's just that good). Easily one of the best things I've seen at the Fringe.... full review

Riot Grrrl Saves the World

I had such a blast watching Riot Grrrl Saves The World. The story is engaging and the energy of the talented cast is electrifying! I loved how spirited and passionate each actress was from start to finish. My favorite parts were the monologues spoken directly to the audience. The actresses delivered their impassioned words with such conviction and truth that I was right there in the moment with them--I was a part of their riot grrrl world, and it was so cool. You don't want to miss this super fun... full review
