With the trust the producers put in him, it's no surprise that this show may be the best written show at Fringe. Whether we want to admit it or not, we're a remote control society, scrolling through channels like flipping through the pages of a magazine at grocery store check out. That's why 25 Plays per Hour is so addictive. I wanted each play to last longer. The ensemble is fantastic. Unlike a show with a bunch of scenes written by the same author, this show has plays written by many. It's like a buffet and your plate gets loaded with a pile of super tasty amuse bouche. Here's how you know its a great show: when the kids are yelling and singing along with the show! At the performance I saw, the kids liked it so much that they actually became part of the show. It was amazing to watch! Costumes and music were exceptional. The Princess, BlackJack and Slurm were having so much fun on stage, that it was tough not to smile, bounce your feet and sing along yourself!
