Love Labours Won

Best thing I've seen at Fringe! There's a reason this gets five star reviews - not only is the writing amazing but the performances - ACROSS THE BOARD - are perfect. You owe it to yourself to see this!!!... full review

FUGITIVE SONGS

A great cast in a fun unique location with fantastic music makes FUGITIVE SONGS a Fringe show to see! I was surprised to discover that it was meant as a song cycle, as the direction and distinct characters brought me on a definitive emotional journey - some high points include a terrific song about Kansas skies and an all-too-familiar rocker about needing to get out of Washington Heights! Zip Ties

Benjamin Schwartz brings a Tarantino film to life on the stage - at least that's how it feels! A great noirish tale of mistaken identities (or are they?) and KEY LARGO-esque bad guys holed up in one location, realtime, in a gory and involved mystery. Begging to become a short film, ZIP TIES is a great shift from many theatrical pieces at Fringe to something very cinematic. Great performances and a nice twist! (Pun not necessarily intended...) Annabella

AMAZING performers and incredible music in a space that is actually PERFECT for it! A creepy and heartfelt homage to the classic fairy tales and fairy tales archetypes, ANNABELLA shines with it's lush music and across-the-board fantastic cast. The tight bare-brick space evokes a very Rapunzel-trapped-in-tower claustrophobic vibe and the voices of the cast work perfectly. Have I mentioned the cast yet? Because: the cast. Getting to Know You

Go. And I recommend not reading any other reviews - any worthwhile review will say things like "amazing experience" et cetera (and they'll be correct), but the less you know, the more fun it will be. Just buy tickets now.... full review

Voyage of Odysseus

A great one-man performance bringing not only the adventure and excitement of The Odyssey, but engaging the audience as well! Part performer, part teacher, always in control, Feinman does a fantastic job of bringing the timeless epic to life with one costume, a long stick, and a handful of chairs. Fun and educational for kids, engaging and funny to adults, extremely well-written and expertly performed. ... full review

Late with Lance!

matt ritchey · June 08, 2015 uncertified reviewer
Lance. Is. Hysterical. A great one-man show skewering one-man shows (with a great song about one-man shows), LATE WITH LANCE is like an evening sitting around with a stranger who you didn't realize is one of your good friends. And if that sounds ludicrous, check out the show and you'll see what I mean. Musicals? Check. Guest stars? Check. Rockette line? Ch-- Kinda. Plus, a smart political jab at recent "pay to get reviewed" scandals. Check out Lance's website for more info on that one... full review
