Benny is a likable, comfortable performer onstage with a great set of pipes and a lot of information to share. he covers a lot of territory, including his Judaism, (bludaism)? but I think he could've actually done a full 45 minutes about being Blewish (and his passion about it etc etc). It's a charming, funny, honest way to spend an hour, and Vanessa will definitely make you smile and laugh and realize… we've all been stuck in some way ( sexual or otherwise)... and sometimes the process of getting unstuck is sloppy and unpredictable ... but it's worth it. ... full review

To me, Patriot Act is 'the big short' of politics in a small black box theater. The same passion, interesting approach, and a whole lot of wisdom is packed in. And whether you're knowledgeable about politics (or not) or heck, even if ur on your way to Canada, go see Patriot Act. Mike Schlitt is always worth it, and you might even leave being a better American! And if not that, at least you'll feel better!... full review

totally fun! totally funny. great cast and set of characters. in my opinion, this was one of the best written pieces in the fringe. it flowed. it made sense. it was easy to follow. and leigh was lovely. she shared and didn't hold back and we were with her every step of the beautiful way. it's 90 minutes, which frankly, scared the bajeesus out of me, and not many people can hold an audiences attention for that long (much less one person), but Leigh did it so adeptly and effortlessly, you will experience many moments of timelessness. this was really a wonderful idea. nurses and their patients... hypochondriacs... the whole shebang. when i attended the show, it was moving, funny, and I got a different perspective (especially being the daughter of a doctor). ersilia put together a great evening of various people sharing their hearts and souls, and I came away with a better understanding of struggle and patience (and patients, as it would be, too).
