Bono and The Edge Waiting for Godomino's

This was my first show of the fringe this year, and it was the perfect way to start the festival. Insofar as U2, I know nothing but a couple'a songs and the fact that Bono was hit while bicycling... but it mattered not. Loved the characters and the concept, and the evening. At times, Richard actually looks like Bono... he sounds great (he plays music, too), and I gotta say... I got a kick out of Bruno Oliver. Go/dot!... full review

i can't stop thinking about how much I loved this show. it makes ensemble work look like a major blast, and I'd gladly play a little flame just to see how this all came together. Great performances. physicality. sound. intensity. the. whole. enchilada. Go!... full review

Fun, playful, sweet, sad... I'm so curious where the doubles partner losing a sister/twin comes from. Personal questions aside, regardless of where it fits in the 'truth' of the world, it added for depth and beauty underneath something so light and silly. In fact, I could have seen more about Summer (Skylar's recently deceased twin) and perhaps somewhere up on the board of numbers were the answers. All in all, a great performance. engaging, lovely, charming. a comedic force.... full review

This guy is an awesome, beautiful man/storyteller/person... and any time I sit in an Ernest Kearney audience, I always feel comfortable, totally endeared, and I learn a little something about what it's like to commit fully to life and your beliefs. Ernest is a gem, and those who experience his shows know how lucky they are to have found him. A definite must! A master storyteller/human/and cult crusader!!! Ooof! ... full review

SNATCHED...Stories From Down There

Loree Gold is so damn cool. She's funny. She's deep. And she teaches us, despite her very active, verbal snatch, that we're all united. Age is no matter. Gender is no matter. Sexual preference, no matter. Love... is the matter. There's a lot to learn from her, love about her, and I hope like the show suggests... this is just a taste!... full review

Las Garcia - BEYOND ENCORE

A beautiful young woman honoring her family, her history, and her legacy in an artful creative, graceful, poetic way. And even though we were in a small black box theatre, I was transported to the Dominican Republic! ... full review

Cathy is a top-notch performer and really likable person who got swept up in Scientology. i'm glad she's out, and I'm glad she's telling her story. With the help of great direction by Shirley Anderson, Cathy's show is tight, RICH, and I have a feeling this could be a two or three parter!... full review

A well written, creative play. Clever concept, talented actors to bring it to life, and a hardy amount of humor and darkness. Quality fringe fair!... full review
