INGERSOLL SPEAKS!

Ernest is a passionate writer/performer, and I always leave his shows smarter and more 'aware' than when I entered. He is likable, lovable, earnest, and he always cares about his subjects so much that love just spills into the audience. His shows are always such a treat. Hmmm... now that I think about it, I probably ought to see it a second time.... full review

Hey Hollywood, My Hustle Has ADHD

Rasika is a powerhouse performer that folks need to see. She's so comfortable onstage and such a good improviser (she casts audience members and is so incredibly present with them). She's fun... deep... FUNNY... and touching (sniff... there's a beautiful baby turtle through-line which was a lovely decision in regards to structuring the show). Not sure what she'll do next, but I'd watch a sketch-style solo show from her in a heartbeat, but who knows what she has up her sleeve... or... what the wor... full review

Quantum Entanglement

Beautiful, poetic... talented cast... lovely writing... and a great artistic set, too. I am really glad I came out for this. The idea to include the audience in the opening was brilliant. Some really lovely moments... and on the whole, a perfect fringe piece (and beyond). Great job!... full review

The Joe & Joshua Show! (2018 Edition)

abby schachner · June 10, 2017 certified reviewer
These two performers are the real deal. not sure if you're the type to close your eyes in a fringe show, but with this one, you won't. They are surprising, hilarious, and SMART, and I am definitely a fan of these fellas. The staging and the direction is simple, yet perfect, and the topics they cover (mostly women, but not solely) come in a way I've yet to experience. So happy I came out for the 11pm show. I want to see people flooding out of this theatre for their next round of shows. Sincere...... full review

The Magic School Bus: A Traumedy

abby schachner · June 10, 2017 certified reviewer
You don't need to be knowledgable about the Magical School bus to enjoy this show, but if you are a fan of the cartoon, you oughtta check out Bonnie's take. She's a talented performer with a great voice, and I bet with more shows, she'll get more comfortable pushing the boundaries and limits of her characters (and body). The more she's able to do that, the more of a ride it will be for everyone involved. We're with you Bonnie! Through the good, the bad, and the gurgly! ... full review

13th Grade

abby schachner · June 10, 2017 certified reviewer
Gonna call this show 'Horny High' instead of 13th grade. Some of the songs really stick, and there is definitely a showstopper or two, but alas I have the 'community college' song playing in my brain. Talented cast that had fun (as did the audience)... and I'm glad I included this musical in the mix of shows I'm seeing this fringe. If you like talent... and musicals... go.... full review

SNATCHED...Stories From Down There

abby schachner · June 10, 2017 certified reviewer
Funny, smart, engaging, dynamic. Not only does Loree have a german pussy with an eye for trouble, she's got some real zingers... great tunes... and some truly beautiful stories. If I dare say, she's a bit of a historic gem. If my vagina talked, it'd say, Go! Even if you're a dude. I assure you... you're in good hands with Loree!... full review

Too Many Hitlers or: The Decoy Decameron

abby schachner · June 09, 2017 certified reviewer
I thought this was great... totally in the spirt of the fringe... and a great take on Hitler that I have yet to see. The comedy was primo... and that's not just being kind. The writing, the concept, so good. The casting and acting, vunderbar. Totally enjoyed myself, and this is my favorite of Steve's so far. Great job, everyone. This is one I'd see twice.... full review
