Serial Killers at the Fringe.

I was a first timer - I love that I could feel that I walked into a community of theatre giants- I've seen several mainstage shows at Sacred Fools but had never been to serial Killers - it was a fun light evening of serial shorts done by fantastic actors. During fringe a show this late is hard especially when you're seeing like 5 shows a day and producing 3 (oh hey nice to meet you come see the Magic School Bus: A Traumedy and Slightly-Off Broadway and The Physicists- -all in Sacred Fools spaces... full review

ENCORE WINNER: Willy's Lil Virgin Queen

I'm fairly knowledgeable about Shakespeare but thanks to this show I feel like the real deal- Terra's passion for the Bard is serious and so is her command of the stage. Loved hearing this story. She brings Elizabethan history to life and draws upon some funny and sad life moments that further cement her connection to good ol Will Shakes! I'd love to have learned a little more about Terra's own life experiences in this show, even if we had to lose some of the plentiful history of the Bard, howeve... full review

The Interference

A beautifully presented play and an important piece of theatre. Strong cast of 12 actors each perfectly suited for their role- most played their own ages, but a few of the young actors had to take on more adult roles and all handled their parts well! The play was well written and seamlessly carried out with several impressive elements - the transitions were quick and the onstage sound design was lovely. I'm not positive (and im Curious to know if I'm at all right) but my guess was that th... full review

13th Grade

13th Grade is a super fun 1990s musical! Strong cast all around. The script was excellent and it was carried out effectively with hilarious results. This show is a great example of a solid "fringe musical" - in years past that term has gotten to mean some bothersome things like that it wasn't great or that it was thrown together - 13th grade is a great "fringe" musical because it presents a full evening of entertainment in an hour without us feeling jipped (though I'd see an extended version for ... full review

hilarious and fun! Some great big belly laughs from Gabriellas funny script -we learn in the show that she's also an experienced stand up comedian! Super refreshing to see a stand up go for all the laughs but never neglect to share the real stuff.... full review

I'd go back and see again if I had time. Well acted and directed. A fun, short and sweet piece - You could tell the crowd loved it and enjoyed themselves! This is also a great fringe piece because when you're seeing 5 shows in a day as many folks are, it's great to know you're gonna be laughing and engaged the whole time. As a bonus it's 45 min long and that makes it easier to get into a busy fringe schedule!... full review

This piece is smart and compelling and haunting. While it's important to talk about sexual violence and trafficking, it's difficult to tackle artistically - As an artist who is also doing a show that tackles sexual violence im super picky about how people approach it...if you're too on the nose and show and tell everything it feels like an exhausting regurgitation of something sad that people don't want to hear about- this is where Christina's piece nails it- she shares a story of trafficking in ... full review
