This is not marketed as a children's show, but I assume it must be. It's the story of a first grader, his classmates, and his imaginary castle. It's cute enough, but there's certainly no reason to go unless you've got kids in tow. http://fringeblog.webs.com/...

A seemingly random sample of awful moments from a life- suicide, divorce... the loss of a finger. I did not really enjoy this show. http://fringeblog.webs.com/...

This show is indescribable in the best way. The story of a tax cheat and his IRS handler is really a platform for a torrent of gags, verbal and physical- made better by the fact that neither man once breaks character. The commitment is incredible. It breaks my heart that someone might sit through one of the pieces of shit I've endured rather than see this show. All I can do is add my voice to the chorus recommending you go. fringeblog.webs.com...

A comedy magic show with non-stop banter and tricks from two polished pros. It's enjoyable, though my friend and I agreed that the magic was hardly mind-blowing. (One issue might be that they are largely performing close up magic on a huge stage). fringeblog.webs.com

A Brazilian theater co. teaches us about the libertine lifestyle. They certainly make good on their promise of full frontal nudity. The show is... interesting. The fringiest fringe show you're likely to find. fringeblog.webs.com

A rock musical retelling of The Exorcist. It's ALSO about the theater troupe putting ON the rock musical retelling of The Exorcist; this makes it overlong and overcomplicated, and I wish that angle had been cut entirely. The songs are fun, though they eventually become indistinguishable. It's the cast that makes this show- very talented, with especially impressive belting from the lead. It's a good time. fringeblog.webs.com

A musical about Pokemon. This is a fun show with a really talented cast- great comedians and great singers. Plus, they show admirable commitment to their characters, be they tiny monsters or 10-year old boys. The story doesn't quite make sense, but that seems beside the point. There are 100 creative flourishes, down to the pokeball program design, and a sh*tload of in-jokes that drove the crowd wild. (I know nothing about Pokemon, but I was still entertained).

Four very strong performances, with excellent set and lighting to boot. This is an interesting piece that is often very funny, but veers darker as it goes. fringeblog.webs.com...

This is a hilarious, sweet story told with unwavering enthusiasm by a very, very talented cast. In stark contrast with some other Fringe pieces- this is a polished, professional show. If you're already familiar with TOS, I can't imagine you'll be disappointed. If you're new to it, as I was- it's a treat! fringeblog.webs.com...
