A Man of No Importance

An Irish bus driver finds escape in the world of theater. This musical is awfully precious, but it's hard not to be charmed by a cast so uniformly excellent and direction so sharp. This is a fully costumed, fully lit, fully staged, and fully produced full length show- a notch above most anything else you'll find at Fringe. fringeblog.webs.com ... full review

Cocktales

Occasionally funny long form improv. I have to believe the cast will have better shows, but the framework they've chosen (same location, same characters, extended running time) will make it challenging on the best of days. IO is open all year- see a play. fringeblog.webs.com... full review

Your enjoyment of this will depend 100% on your tolerance for short form improv games. It didn't make a convert of me. http://fringeblog.webs.com/... full review

Not successful as a religious satire or as a comedy. And it started 17 minutes late. http://fringeblog.webs.com/... full review

The Road to High Street

This should be a really fascinating story (a man has traveled the world as a street performer). But having stories and being able to tell them are not the same. The BEATING

A game cast cannot save an inane script- an "absurd comedy" about child abuse which is about as funny as you'd imagine. http://fringeblog.webs.com/... full review

Fluffy Bunnies in a Field of Daisies

Live on stage- a schlocky sitcom played at triple speed. I suspect the director threatened to fire any cast member who took a breath. Even with the rush, the show was way longer than advertised (and necessary) AND started 15 minutes late. Some (not all) of the cast members are really appealing, and do deserve success on a sitcom. But a better sitcom than this. http://fringeblog.webs.com/... full review
