I thought a Neil Labute play was a safe solid choice to showcase actors in the fringe.
The amazing rating is biased as I am connected to multiple aspects of the production, however:
The performances were sharp. The play itself is a bit of a groundhog's day scenario, where a similar setup has different outcomes and the actors truly thrived in making each scene pop with a different tonality.

The amount of work in such a short period of time alone was astounding. The performance delivered. The plot's main thread could have been stronger, as it served as the foundation for the hilarity that ensued, but having said that, the main thread also was subtle enough to get out of the way of the cast's performance.
The songs were intellectually crass, walking the tightrope perfectly between blue, and thought provoking.
