Saw this piece on Opening Night and had a fun experience. This Salome remix is worthy of discussion on the topic of desire. Using it to exploit others, to gain power or being consumed by it yourself this production offers an interesting commentary to these thoughts. Our experience as an audience was interesting, the pace was definitely quick and driving you had to stay alert to keep up with it. But there was an energy in the room you don't always get with an audience, we were in this journey ... full review

Immediately when the show began there was a chilling atmosphere in the room.(Maybe it helped that I was sitting directly under the AC) The suspense of learning more about these characters and their pasts kept us on the edge of our seats.... full review

My best Fringe discovery from the few shows I saw at last year's festival was Lost Moon Radio. This is only my third time seeing this group and I am more and more impressed each time. A great group of talented, hilarious and fun performers. It's not often I've looked at Sketch and Theatre in the same category, yet they do it so successfully. The show is a must-see and a just-see. Just see it! You'll be so glad you did. They deserve all the success that is headed their way.... full review

Limousine, Midnight Blue

First thing I must say is Hecht's performance was unrelenting, powerful and dynamic. Clearly a great talent and intellect at work here. I appreciated the performance and the writing in this piece, I clapped as hard as I could when the actor took his well deserved bow. But I felt that I never truly connected with the piece. Although it was interesting, it felt more like a lecture than an experience. The performer went to some incredible places, I wanted to go there with him.... full review

The Harry and Sam Dialogues

There is a great spirit to this piece. Being in the space with these actors there is an excitement in the air before the show even starts. There are so great and surprisingly touching moments, and a lot of fun to be had with the intimate conversational dialogue between these two friends. Although deceivingly light at first, there's a lot more to this play than you could pick up on at first glance.... full review

WET THE HIPPO

This blew me away! It's a show in the most basic sense of the word. This talented and striving troupe led by John in performance invite you to join them as they show you everything they've got. Constantly striving towards honesty and 'truth' in performance, connection and exploration. Improvised but structured. Outrageous but honest. This is not the kind of 'show' you are expecting. It's a different and exciting form of performance. I loved it.... full review
