Airplane LIVE!

This show is a love-letter to fans of cult classic film. If that's you, Surely you've already seen the show? I haven't and stop calling me Shirley. Well then go, unless you hate fun (and Airplane) in which case only go if you can avoid loudly complaining to the folks who are having a good time. Special shout out to the stage ninja (stage hand) how does so much with what some actors would refuse on the grounds he doesn't get lines. ... full review

Blamed: An Established Fiction

"Sorrow is a means to an end" is possibly one of the most breathtakingly beautiful moments I have ever witnessed on stage. But this comment could apply much of this show. Poignant and celebratory by turns, this is a show about exposure and reclamation. These women explore painful stories, turning over the rocks of common understanding to reveal the steady drumbeat of ugliness that flows through history and literature. HERE COMES RUTHERFORD

Captivating. This is one person show in the classic sense. One actor, inhabiting a character living in a world. The language was beautiful and the performance very well executed. Just enough set, prop, and tech to support that performance but not get in the of that performance. ... full review

Lisa K. Wyatt is amazing to watch and listen to. The voiceover adds to the environment without taking away from the heart of the performance. This show is a masterclass in reacting without speaking as our spinster is not always at liberty to talk to back to the voices as she might choose. And I must say, I laughed a great deal, more than I might have suspected based on the (admittedly little) details I knew of the script. ... full review

Just buy a ticket right now as 6/22 is your last chance to see it and it will sell out. While I can imagine someone somewhere that might not enjoy the heck out of this show, I don't think any such person would be attending the Hollywood Fringe at all. SEE THIS SHOW!... full review
