The 90s, man. The 19-frickin'-90s. This show looks a little like wishful thinking for geeks, but spends enough time with each of the leads that we begin to remember how crazy it is to be a teen, and how anything can happen. We had many laugh out loud moments from a great combination of acting, staging, and writing. The show uses as its twist something that is statistically unlikely, and its effort to do so leaves a few weak points. That aside, the whole production is strong and enjoyable. If you ...

Heaven has theme days. And pranks. And no birds. And lots of dating. The show starts very strongly. Both actors are exceptional performers. The script's concept and execution are worthy of another draft with more research incorporated into each of the characters. Even with amusing characters, the later scenes of bickering drag the show a bit, but it ends very sweetly. If you like myriads of characters and a clever hook, this show is for you!...

This company has a very supportive community. The house was packed for the show I saw, and a very enthusiastic audience laughed heartily and applauded the heightened emotions. I was corrected in my assumption that these performers were students. The show included unsteady performances. The staging had a few brightly comic moments, but a lack of attention to detail that unsuspended my disbelief. The writing provided some very conspicuous opportunities for the actors to play states of being, and wa...

'Women' uses its source material well. Very tight performances and quick scenes really move the story from joke to joke in an entirely amusing way. The show very much relies on the predictable cadence of sitcoms, and pairing that with classic literature makes for entertainment a step above. Absolutely fun!...

Keep in mind, I am inclined to dislike stories about rich people problems, so this wasn't for me. While I found the use of space engaging, and watching Andrew Boyle spin from character to character was wholly entertaining, I couldn't help getting distracted by the thought that the major conflict in this piece was one that I couldn't remotely relate to. A big chunk of the show was devoted to how to entertain oneself living in London with an endless supply of money. Though we were to believe that c...

I love the absurd, and this certainly has it in spades. Not to fixate on details, but the facepaint is brilliant! I love what it does to the actors' faces. If you like absurdism, this is for you!...
