Met Again

Full disclosure, I work for Theatre Unleashed, but I couldn't NOT leave a review of this show!! How Jacob Smith was able to capture the full breadth of an honest and true relationship (the ups, the downs, the twists, the turns, the LIFE of it) is truly incredible. In an hour, thanks to the direction of Sean Fitzgerald, we became part of this couple's life. We journeyed with them, watched them grow and perhaps fell in love with them a bit ourselves. The two leads, Julia Plostnieks and Michael Luth... full review

Two Girls One Bard: Romeo & Juliet

This is the best version of "Romeo & Juliet" I have ever seen. There will never, ever be one better. I cannot remember a show where I literally laughed for 45 minutes straight. These two wonderful "jerks' shit all over Shakespeare's tragic love story for all the reasons one should and they do it with incredible comedic timing, nonstop energy and - believe it or not - adorable reverence to the material. This is one of the best shows I've seen at Fringe this and I really truly hope they continue th... full review

Wow! Just wow! This one will make you want to call your loved ones right away. A beautiful message brought to you in the form of an all-too-real drama with plenty of humor involved to truly take you on a roller coaster. A fantastic piece of theatre with great performances!... full review

This year's Fringe darling doesn't disappoint! Cyanne's show is fun, funny, clever, touching and above all, heartfelt. Literally. Cyanne pours all that she has and is into this work and it shows. Can't say enough about how wonderful she is and how strong and moving her show is. Go see it!... full review

Oh my God, I love this show! Even a few days later, I can't quite put it into words. It's part comedy, part drama, part clowning, part existential introspection... but all amazing. The commitment by these wonderful performers is amazing and the various emotions that evoke is even stronger. So much fun and yet so much more. Go see this! ... full review

Lucky

Beautifully shared! "Lucky" feels like less of a one-man show and more of storytime among friends. Greg is very bold and brave and also just plain funny, even when he's handling some of the darker tragedies he's faced. Within minutes of his starting the show, you instantly are cheering for him as he talks about his many struggles. A wonderful blend of comedy and tragedy with an inspiring tale of hope that no matter what any of us go through, we are all, in our own way, lucky.... full review

The Poe Show

Such a fun concept with some of the best gags and jokes and performers you'll see at Fringe this year (one at the end might be one of the funniest things I've ever seen in my life...you'll know it when you see it!). I had so much fun at this and really hope they make this a series.... full review

BEYOND - Unemployed. Finally.

I dare you not to find Heather wonderfully adorable or this show absolutely inspiring! A great concept with an all-too-recognizable theme for us struggling artists. Heather has such an easy, natural approach, you would think that she has been doing this show for years. She invites you into her life with snark and humor and doesn't shy away when things get rough. Within minutes you feel like you're simply listening to a friend tell you about her day, her life, what she's learned. She handles the m... full review

Inside The Mind Of Me

What a mind trip of a show! An incredible look at the demons that haunt (and help) us all. I love the framing device for this show and some of the writing is just beautiful, as is the use of lighting and projections to evoke specific moods. There are also some wonderful performances in this production. Definitely a show that will stick with me for a while. Well done everyone!... full review
