ABOUT THE APOCALYPSE PLAYERS

TALIA DERRY: Apocalypse Player
This is gonna be short but sweet (pun most definitely intended). Talia
loves doing funny and creative stuff with other funny and creative
people. She’s really happy that you’re here to see ARMAGEDDON. Thanks
for the support, guys! Love to family and friends.

BEN FULLER: Apocalypse Player
Ben originally hails from Massachusetts where he spent four years studying this acting schtick at Emerson College. After graduating, his travels brought him to sunny LA to make it big, see? He has quite the penchant for karaoke, and if you ask nicely, he might tantalize you with his Aaron Neville impression. Recent stage credits include, and are limited to: James in Brimmer Street Theater’s Flower to Flower, a bunch of characters in Off Chance Productions’ The Limitations of Genetic Technology, Roland Maule in Edgemar Theater Group’s Present Laughter, and something else he can’t remember right now. Recent WEB work includes: Brian in Generation U, Drunk Best Man in I Hate You So Much, and Amputee in Shades of Grey. He has no film or television credits, so, hire him. Thanks. He loves his girlfriend Sara a whole carnival-cruise-load, and thanks these guys for including him in this Apocalyptic affair.

SARAH HAGAN: Apocalypse Player
Sarah Hagan is best known for her beloved recurring roles as “Millie Kentner” on the cult series FREAKS AND GEEKS and “Amanda” on the hit series BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER. Born in Austin, Texas, she began acting at age 6, when her mother first signed her up for musical theater, and has since appeared on ALLY MCBEAL, Judd Apatow’s UNDECLARED, BOSTON PUBLIC, GREY’S ANATOMY, and MEDIUM, to name a few. She played the voices of “Lola Llama” and “Jungle Girl” on the Cartoon Network series MY GYM PARTNER’S A MONKEY. After a hiatus from acting to study painting and sculpture, Hagan has returned with a supporting role in the Warner Bros. comedy SPRING BREAKDOWN alongside Saturday Night Live cast members Amy Poehler and Rachel Dratch, and the lead role in the 2011 Sundance selected indie, JESS + MOSS.

BING PUTNEY: Apocalypse Player
Bing Putney hails from the great American Southeast, now primarily swamp land following the monsoonicane of 2013. After receiving his BFA in Acting from Emerson College, he completed a season-long apprenticeship at Actors Theatre of Louisville, where he was fortunate enough to participate in the Humana Festival of New American Plays. He then performed in the International Mystery Writer’s festival, (where he won the Angie award for Best Supporting Actor) and presented Davis Sedaris’ one-man show, “The Santaland Diaries” at Triad Stage. After spending time in New York, he moved to Los Angeles in 2009 to seek refuge from the tri-state alien-vampire invasion. Past Credits include- Regional Theatre: The Santaland Diaries, Hedwig and the Angry Inch, Game On (Humana Festival), This Beautiful City (Humana Festival), Suspension, A Christmas Carol, Sherlock Holmes: The Final Toast, and Inherit the Wind. TV: Dawson’s Creek, One Tree Hill, Shake Rattle and Roll. Film: When in Rome, The Dress Code, Digging to China. www.bingputney.com

ALEX SALEM: Apocalypse Player
Alex Salem welcomes you to ARMAGEDDON: A Night of Laughs and Pleasant Songs, and wishes he could be there himself to enjoy the performance with you. It is a shame, he thought, that he was bitten repeatedly by mutant werewolves and then engulfed in toxic waste before he could do the awesome transformation into a werewolf himself. Now he will never get the chance to tell you all about how he has been doing theater for several years, graduated from Emerson College and once placed third in a pen-twirling competition, since he knew you would have loved to hear about all that. C’est la vie, he would have said. Fortunately for you, pre-recordings of his voice have survived and are being exploited by the performance this evening.

ALY SYKES: Apocalypse Player
Aly Sykes, a San Diego native, moved to LA to pursue acting after college. Being a comedy girl, she completed UCB and now performs around town with her improv group ‘Kindergarten Fat Head.’ She is stoked to be a part of this hilarious addition to the Fringe Festival.

ALICYN PACKARD: Mutant Melissa
Whether she’s acting on screen, doing stand up, or rocking the mic, you can bet Alicyn’s having fun. As a stand up comic, Ali’s unique brand of stand-up has graced the stages of The World Famous Improv, The Comedy Store many more clubs across the country. As a voice over artist, her enthusiasm and artistic dedication are on full display as the voices of ‘Miss Sunshine,’ ‘Miss Whoops,’ and ‘Miss Naughty’ in Cartoon Network’s Emmy-nominated animated program, “The Mr. Men Show." Other series credits include three characters in the hit series “Olivia” currently airing on Nickelodeon. She also gained the attention of legions of video game enthusiasts through her work on “Prince of Persia: Warrior Within” and as the ‘Female Blood Elf’ in the international smash hit, “World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade.” On screen she has starred in the award-winning indie comedy feature “Alondra Smiles”, the psychological thriller, “World Full of Nothing,” and numerous short films as well as originating the role of ‘Jenn’ in the world-premiere of cosmic rock musical “Earth Sucks." Variety called Alicyn’s duet in “Earth Sucks” a “highlight of the show.” Alicyn is also currently producing her new web-series “Inside Alicyn’s Wonderland,” an interview show that goes through the looking glass into the wild world of animation to sit down with the folks behind the cartoons you love (www.alicynswonderland.com).
