Happy Survival,
The Apocalypse Players

JOSIE CAMPBELL: Writer & Director
Josie Campbell is a writer, director, comedian, and first-rate survivor. Her previous credits include working as a writer/director for the Warner Brothers Creative Lab, writer for the entertainment blog Comic Book Resources, and ghostwriting jokes for comedians such as Norm MacDonald and Jay Mohr. She has also directed numerous plays on the East Coast and lived through the supervolcano that destroyed most of Burbank, so that’s something. For more on Josie, visit www.cozyjamble.com.

MICHAEL POISSON: Writer
Michael grew up in Burrillville, Rhode Island during the 1990’s NBC sitcom boom and the WB’s teen dramedy craze. Based on this early introduction to comedy and the occult, it is no wonder he is currently working at bringing the uproarious Armageddon to Los Angeles.
Michael attended Emerson College in Boston, majoring in Media Arts with a concentration in Television Production. There, he found his love for writing and worked with another student to write and produce the college’s sitcom series: The Daily Grind. He was also nominated and accepted into a special “Directing Comedy for Television” class taught by Friends Executive Producer, Kevin Bright.
Graduating in December of 2007 with the honor of Outstanding Television Student and summa cum laude, Michael moved to Los Angeles where he currently works as an assistant in the television-packaging department at CAA. He is currently locked in an eternal struggle to not become jaded.
Michael was one of the founding members of the sketch comedy troupe: The Burbank Historical Preservation Society. He is concurrently working on a stage musical entitled “The Power of Zero,” and a graphic novel series entitled “The Arcs.” He continues to write spec scripts in order to refine his voice and storytelling abilities in the hopes of becoming a television writer.

SAMANTHA SHADA: Producer
Sam moved to Los Angeles in 2008 to finish her education at the Emerson College Los Angeles Campus. Little did she know that in three short years she would find herself at the epicenter of the Apocalypse Survivors Station, or ASS. Just before graduating, Sam took a position at WMA. In 2009, when WMA became WME2, she joined UTA. Since escaping the world of acronyms, Sam has worked as a temp and freelancer at a number of companies both in and out of the entertainment industry. She recently joined the LA theatre scene, and became a part of “What Can I Do?,” a campaign to raise awareness and compassion surrounding homelessness. Find her on facebook, twitter, linked-in or your most preferred method of social voyeurism.
