After their successful 25th Anniversary Awareness Events benefiting the Chernobyl Children’s International, this new play ventures to reach an even wider audience by introducing children 8+ to a time in history rarely discussed except in crisis. Carefully crafted and interactive, the audience learns how Katya, 9 years-old in 1986, learned about science and history so she can understand the new situation evolving around her.

“It’s very good, it’s educational and also teaches the kids how to educate themselves about the world, which is important.” – After-school teacher whose 9-12 year-olds saw the workshop in April.

This play is also endorsed by the East Hollywood Neighborhood Council, who encourages their stakeholders to attend. A copy of the letter of support can be found at http://voicesfromchornobyl.wordpress.com/2011/05/17/east-hollywood-neighborhood-council-supports-vfc-jr/ or upon request.
