Shannon Penrod was an award winning comedienne, writer and teacher when her infant son was diagnosed with Autism. Her life took a sharp left turn and landed her in a place she had never been before…Autism World. The Autism Mamalogues is a series of vignettes that poke fun at and draw into sharp focus some of the crazy, maddening things that occur after a child is diagnosed with Autism.

“Twelve years after my son was diagnosed, it was finally time for me to tell my story, in my own way. It hasn’t all been pretty, but a lot of it has managed to be pretty funny.” says Penrod.

Shannon Penrod is the host of the popular web program, Autism Live, which features weekly interviews and segments that are meant to inform and inspire the Autism Community. For more information visit. www.autism-live.com or www.youtube.com/autismlive

The show features original music composed by Atticus Couger, in consultation with Spectrum Laboratory. Atticus is an 18 year old composer on the Autism Spectrum.
