Translated into Spanish from Don Nigro´s “Seascape with Sharks and Dancer”, with English subtitles.

Ben, a lonely writer, can´t seem to take concrete actions towards his goals. One night, he finds a wild young girl in the ocean. She is always destroying everything she touches. Their interaction become a funny and tragic cycle of killing and giving birth. The world is full of sharks, isn´t it?

The project won the Hollywood Fringe Festival 2018 Scholarship. This play is willing to open up the vision of “latin culture” embracing the brazilian theater culture and alternative spanish songs.

Gabriella Spacciari is a brazilian actress. She graduated on Acting at UNICAMP, São Paulo. Worked professionally on the shows: Killer Joe", by Tracy Letts. The show was extended for its great repercussion and got 4 stars by Folha de São Paulo’s critics; “A Midsummer’s Night Dream”, Shakespear with live music by Campinas’Symphony Orchestra. “No Ar”, collaboratively created and awarded the Government Prize “PROAC Primeiras Obras”, touring around 5 cities in São Paulo state. She was also the lead in independent films as “Aluga-se", directed by Caue and João Nunes, and “Vermelho” by Guily Machovec, that won Top Short at NY JAZZ Film Festival 2016. She was also in a bunch of TV-commercials to brands such as PEPSI, GoodEyer, SuperBonder, Pioneer…

Tomás Martic is a Chilean actor. He debuted on television in the Bakan series of the MEGA television station in 2011. In 2012 he participated in TVN’s Pobre Rico series, In 2016 he was part of the cast in the Fabulosas Flores series, directed and written by Juan Pablo Larraín and Leonardo Valsecchi, that was emitted by Netflix Also Tomas Martic participated in the movie The Bandit Hound by Michelle Danner and the short films Come Autumn by Christina Stanley and Invertido by Marcelo Fica.

Lucas Paz is an award winning Brazilian Director and Producer in United States known for his works on film, commercials, music videos and theatre. He directed over 60 theatre productions, including musicals and Operas like Rent, Aladdin, Dido and Aeneas. He was also Professor and Opera Artistic Director at Azusa Pacific University, Curator at the 10th LABRFF, he has an MFA in Filmmaking by New York Film Academy (NYFA) in Los Angeles, US, and a Bachelor’s in theatre directing by the University of São Paulo (USP), Brazil.
