Lucid Dramatics is proud to present “Laertes Loves Hamlet Loves Ophelia,” a re-imagining of Shakespeare’s classic tragedy, premiering June 2nd as part of the 2018 Hollywood Fringe Festival.

There’s no space for soliloquies in this apartment. What happens when three of Shakespeare’s most iconic characters move in together? A sexy, bloody, love triangle. From Fringe veterans Katelyn Schiller and Payden Ackerman, and introducing Kelley Pierre, Lucid Dramatics invites you to experience Hamlet’s tale anew – and hear the other side of the story.

Lucid Dramatics formed in 2014 with the aim of producing original dramatic works and expanding the utility of theatre. Their previous Fringe offerings include “Murder Blood Bear Story” by Katelyn Schiller (NOMINEE: BEST SOLO SHOW – Hollywood Fringe Festival 2015. WINNER: BEST IN FESTIVAL – Maui Fringe Festival 2016, BEST PERFORMANCE – Maui Fringe Festival 2016), “How to be a Virgin (in 12 Morally Ambiguous Steps)” by Carla Neuss (WINNER: THE ENCORE! PRODUCERS’ AWARD – Combined Artform, BEST COMEDY – Indie Voice. NOMINEE: MOST ORGASMIC PERFORMANCE: Katelyn Schiller – Orgasmico Theatre Company, TRACEY COLLINS FUNNY GIRL AWARD: Katelyn Schiller – Theatre Unleashed), and “Quantum Entanglement” by Katelyn Schiller (WINNER: THE ENCORE!
