MB Stage Productions (Los Angeles, CA), With THE STUDY our new immersive and interactive theatre piece well into rehearsals we are proud to announce that we will be hosting a LIVE play-thru of the video game Until Dawn.

Until Dawn is a horror adventure video game developed by Supermassive Games and published by Sony Computer Entertainment for PlayStation 4 that was released worldwide in August 2015. Set in Western Canada, Until Dawn centres around a group of eight teenagers who decide to have a holiday for a night in a cabin on the fictional Blackwood Mountain, exactly one year after the disappearance of two girls, the twin sisters of a member of their group. Shortly after arriving, the gang find themselves under attack by a madman and must attempt to survive until sunrise. Throughout the adventure, players alternate between all eight characters, making critical decisions as the story advances which drastically affects the game’s outcome, leading to hundreds of different scenarios.

Until Dawn, was instrumental in the inspiration for the creation of THE STUDY. After we spent the last three years running THE VIDEO GAMES; which won four awards, ran Off-Broadway for seven months and toured comic conventions, it was time for us to move on to another project. We wanted to take what we learned producing, directing and creating THE VIDEO GAMES and come up with an original idea that combined our love of video games and live theatre. Until Dawn is one of our favorite games and interactive theatre has become the core of what we do. So as an homage to Until Dawn we are hosting a live play-thru of the game on the big screen.

There will be two events one on May 1st and on May 15th. Both will feature a live play-thru of the game, a chance to get in the hot seat play on the big-screen and commentary by the creators and actors in our new show THE STUDY. We also have some special guests lined up for the May 15th show that you won’t want to miss (more to come on that soon)!
