FEAST COMES FOR SECONDS

Feast

view project

First premiering at the Hollywood Fringe Festival in 2014, then later being revamped that same year as part of Mutant Collective’s “Double Creature Feature”, Feast returns four years later for seconds!

Feast was written by Los Angeles based gay playwright, Dylan Wallace, featuring a female dominated cast starring a woman in the lead role. These are the voices and stories that cannot be silenced. Now is the time for Feast to return. No question.

Set inside the home of an affluent family celebrating their 30th wedding anniversary, Feast is a game of manners over reason; a “dark farce” about social injustice and the struggle to have your voice heard when everyone wants you silenced; and without cramming a message on veganism down your throat, it cleverly asks you to take a closer look at what’s on your plate. The comedy is nonstop, you’ll be laughing at things you shouldn’t! …Just don’t have a large meal beforehand as there are plenty of barf-inducing moments sure to cause the strongest of stomachs to fall ill.
