MOVING PARTS FILM FESTIVAL ANNOUNCES
FIVE-PART WORKSHOP SERIES IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE MOVING PARTS FILM FESTIVAL

LOS ANGELES, CA – April 12, 2018 – Moving Parts Film Festival© (MPFF) announced today that it is hosting a five-part workshop series, Creating Your Short Film Or Web Series, in conjunction with the film festival September 14 – 15th, 2018 in Los Angeles, California. The workshops will be held each month, ramping up to the film festival in September featuring guest speakers, panelists, and industry experts. Independent filmmakers, local students, and film lovers are invited to attend the workshops, which are a part of the festival’s recently expanded efforts to connect with independent artists and audiences.

Writing Your Short Film or Web Series workshop takes place on Saturday, April 14, 2018. Participants will learn the power of developing their ideas and learn to execute the writing of their script. The workshop features industry professionals, panelists Farhan Arshad (Man With A Plan,) Mitch Rouse (The Heartbreak Kid/Employee of the Month,) Ashley Scott Meyers (The Pinch/Rushlights,) and Rod Johnson (Guest House Films, Disney Channel, Lifetime Movie Network.) Crowd Funding workshop takes place on Saturday, May 12, 2018. Participants will learn the steps and processes to build their audiences, raise funds, and successfully execute their projects through crowdfunding platforms.
