Former diplomat, interpreter and award-winning actor/writer/producer, Gabriela Sosa, launched the world premiere adaptation of her debut novel, Love in the Time of Taksim, at the Actor’s Company theater, part of the Hollywood Fringe Festival to a sold-out house at every show. It is work based on her experience this summer in Istanbul with Al Gore at the Climate Reality Leadership Corps training.

Love in the Time of Taksim recounts Gabriela’s unexpected love affair during the riots in Taksim Square in a very frank and humorous tone – so much so that it earned her now 5 curtain calls! “This particular one woman show was indeed fun, captivating and interesting thanks totally to the charm and talent of Gabriela Sosa.”
