Mike Hennessey of Hennessey Productions and Composer Laurie Grant are proud to present this Multicultural, interactive, musical mystery comedy, “Kookie Clubhouse Kingdom: The Gift”

When a mysterious and magical “GIFT” arrives at the Kookie Clubhouse Kingdom, all of its residents become very excited, a little confused, slightly irritated, and even, a little scared (but only a teeny little bit).

Not knowing where the GIFT came from and what’s going to happen next creates a greater mystery. With help from the Kingdom’s visitors (the audience), the Kingdom characters unravel the mysteries and figure out who will be receiving this magical GIFT. Along the way, transformations of the characters take place. Then, the Kingdom’s characters, the children, and everyone in the Kingdom learn that these transformations and ~~differences~~ truly are GIFTS to make their Kingdom an even better place to live.

The Kookie Clubhouse Kingdom is a multi-cultural place that includes the King (an Australian), the Queen (One from South Africa & India), the Prince (One from India & South Africa), the Princess (from Asia), the Jesters 1 & 2 (from North and South America), the Nanny (from England), and the Wizard (we think maybe… from the Artic).

WHAT: “The Kookie Clubhouse Kingdom Players Present: The Gift” a Musical

WHY:
The Kookie Clubhouse Kingdom was created by Mike Hennessey back in 1995 and debuted on stage in December that year in the Kookie Clubhouse Kingdom Players: “THE GIFT” right in the heart of Hollywood, CA. With inspiring direction from Musical Director and Composer Laurie Grant with whom Mike co-authored the lyrics the show was live for 12 weeks. The Players were created to encourage children (of all ages) to be who they are and not to be afraid to express their unique and wonderful gifts that they have to offer the world.

The uplifting wonderful music brings a powerful message about seeing and embracing the gifts all around us while at the same time making you want to jump out of your seat in Celebration with these amazing characters in this Kookie Clubhouse Kingdom.

Our immediate goals are to have a positive impact on everyone who sees our show. To inspire them to embrace the differences they see in each other and within themselves. We intend to have “Live Streaming” on select dates that would be a paid streaming of the play to benefit various Children’s Charities around the Globe making the show and the effect that it’s message has on everyone much more far reaching than the wonderful theatre where it will be performed in Hollywood for the Hollywood Fringe Festival and beyond.
