Triptych

Elbow Works Productions is proud to present the world premiere of award-winning playwright Lee Wochner’s play Triptych as part of the Hollywood Fringe Festival 2017.

Triptych tells the story of Silicon Valley power couple Robert and Madison, bored with their marriage and each other. But when fledgling artist Trudy enters their lives, they see an opportunity to spice up their relationship with a bit of fun-and-games, animalistic and artistic. Complications quickly arise when an unexpected appreciation for both art and the artist herself is discovered in this very adult, very funny play about paint and power

Produced and directed by Michael David, Triptych explores when art becomes more than paint on a canvas and has the ability to bind new relationships … or destroy them.

The play features Ross Kramer and Laura Buckles as the conniving couple, and Daria Balling as the artist who may not be quite as naïve as she seems.

Playwright Lee Wochner is the award-winning author of more than two dozen plays produced in New York, London, Los Angeles and elsewhere. From 1992 to 2002, he directed, produced or developed more than 150 new plays as the founding artistic director of Moving Arts.

Producer/director Michael David is a veteran of more than 300 stage productions as a director, producer, actor, playwright and designer. His directing credits include award-winning productions for Moving Arts and Paul Stein’s innovative and immersive Car Plays.

Triptych is being performed in the Hollywood Fringe Festival at the Stephanie Feury Studio Theatre, 5636 Melrose Avenue in Los Angeles, CA, 90038.
