Do you need superpowers to be a hero?

Superhero movies, TV and graphic novels have come back into popular culture in a BIG WAY, but what actually makes a real life hero? Two M@therf#ck*rs on a Ledge is a spiritual dramedy that puts its characters in pursuit of the answer to that question – on a ledge five stories above Sunset Blvd! Ronn Johnstone, executive producer and playwright, stars as Allyn, a man with nothing to lose. His therapist, Mattie, on the other hand, stands to lose everything if she can’t talk him back inside. The play runs 50 minutes – a therapeutic hour – and chronicles their unorthodox session as they both face unsafe questions about loss, hope, courage, and – the most dangerous of all – what it truly takes to be a hero.

Wisdom Tooth Theatre Project was formed in 2007 in Indianapolis, Indiana, with the original mission of creating a bridge between established and emerging artists in the Indianapolis theatre community. Ten years later, it continues to produce challenging new professional work, provoking social awareness, ethical courage, and true imagination while still providing an intersection for emerging and established theatre professionals and creating a dynamic training ground for performing artists. The production company is founded on the concept that “a theatre of courage can show us how we all can live through tragedies and triumphs…and in so doing, show the audience the nature of hope.”

Two M@therf#ck*rs on a Ledge marks the company’s first West Coast premiere through the 2017 Hollywood Fringe Festival.

RONN JOHNSTONE (Allyn/Playwright) Born and raised in sunny Southern California, Ronn studied and worked the LA theatre circuit until 1991, when he moved to New York to pursue graduate studies. In 1993 he began teaching, finally ending up as the Chair of Anderson University Theatre (1995-2014). Known primarily as an actor, he is a graduate of the School at Steppenwolf, is a veteran of the stage, and has over 30 directing credits to his name. Ronn has worked at The Phoenix, ERT, TOTS, Comedy Sportz, The Bonderman Festival w/Indiana Repertory Theatre, Arden, AUP and Indy Fringe. He is currently Producing Artistic Director of Wisdom Tooth Theatre Project where he teaches a clean, concise, and usable method that can bring an actor from idea to performance, enabling them to approach any role with confidence and insight.

VERONICA WYLIE (Mattie/Producer) Described as toeing the line between quirky and edgy, Veronica caught the “acting bug” at the age of 8 years old and hasn’t stopped since!  She moved to Los Angeles at the earliest opportunity to give the bug what it wanted. Since then, she has appeared in numerous films, TV shows, web series, and theatrical productions, including Days of Our Lives, The Conway Curve (with Casper Van Dien), Adventures in Online Dating, and her favorite stage role (till this one, of course), Lady Macbeth. She created, produced, and starred in the web series Adventures in Online Dating, which is currently in post production and whose pilot will be making the festival circuit in Fall of 2017 and is available on YouTube. Veronica is an animal enthusiast and an avid crocheter/knitter.

In 2008, Chris was voted one of the Favorite Commercial Casting Directors by BackStage/West; and in 2009 voted one of the Favorite Commercial Audition Workshop Teachers. With over 20 years of experience in the film industry, Chris has cast a number of national commercial campaigns.
