SpiritWheel

view project

Two former female employees of an uber-trendy spin studio expose how the indoor-cycling craze takes its most ardent devotees for quite a ride, in the new comedy “SpiritWheel”. Verity Branco and Xochtl Romero (“Chimichangas and Zoloft, To The Bone”) wrote and star in this world-premiere parody skewering the “scientology of spin” at The Lounge Theatre in L.A., as part of the Hollywood Fringe Festival. In 2009, Branco and Romero launched their YouTube comedy series, “The Foodie Girls,” and were chosen as two of the “Top 10 Funny Ladies to Follow” by “Glamour” magazine.
