following the success of last years show titled “33”,Charles Marina returns to The Hollywood Fringe Festival with a new title dubbed “The Story Of Dick The Pussycat”. Following the success of last year’s show at the Fringe “Thirty Three” that played in Los Angeles, Dubai, Lebanon and Australia.

This new dramady is about a pussycat called Dick who’s owners are divorcing after five years of marriage. They are splitting their belongings in the house and now they are battling who will take custody over the cat. Question is, does he want them anymore?

This show is about humans, told from the point of view of a cat.

" This is a big challenge for me because I am playing four characters on stage by myself, Dick, the couple (Chloe and Max) and Chloe’s mother in law. I want to make sure that each character is different than the other specially that I am just dressed in a T- shirt and a pair of pants. The second challenge was writing the show. It was easier last year because I was writing about my life. Unlike “The Story Of Dick The Pussycat” it is all fictional and I had to find a voice for every role.

Marina, an LA based actor and writer since 2006 performs stand up all over town. Just finished shooting a short film “No Way Back” also you can check his weekly video blog “Charlie Figures It Out” on You Tube. Charles is in the process of writing his second feature film.

“I am excited about this show” Marina said. “Fringe is such an incredible melting pot where you share your talent and passion with other talented artists. It’s a privilege to be part of this incredible event."
