LOS ANGELES, CA. Hollywood Fringe Festival presents “Artichoke Hearts,” an original one-act play written, produced, and performed by Sarah Mitchell.

“Artichoke Hearts” cuts into the strange, sadistic state of being in love through a series of embodied interviews. Jumping from one distinct character to another in rapid succession, Mitchell wrestles the web of vulnerability, sadness, hope, and regret, and occasional satisfaction that stems from looking for pieces of ourselves in other people.

Sarah Mitchell is a graduate of the University of Southern Oregon, completing a BFA in Theatre in 2014. As an intern at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, she understudied for the role of Little Red in Into the Woods.
