MALADAPTATION - WORLD PREMIERE!!!

Hey Everyone,

Thanks for checking out my show! It means so much that you’re even taking the time to read this. My name is Alex Tortora and I would like to personally invite you to, “MALADAPTATION” debuting at the 2016 Hollywood Fringe Festival.

A semi-recent college graduate, I chose to write “MALADAPTATION” because I wanted to see how far I could get spearheading a project and wearing all the hats; Writing, acting, and producing. So far, while it has most definitely been a labor of hard work, it has above all been one of love. A whirlwind that I am proud of accomplishing and that I would be overjoyed to share with you. To know more about what you’re getting yourself into, here is a description of the show:

Colin (Alex Tortora) and Ruth (Lilli Passero) are siblings. Though bound by blood, they couldn’t be more different. When Ruth comes home and stumbles upon Colin in a personal moment the ensuing conversation transcends formalities and dives deep into the external and internal problems straining the siblings. From their personal philosophies to the very fabric of their beings, Colin and Ruth must wrestle with the present state of their relationship and find some common ground before the last straw breaks them apart completely. We don’t get to choose our families and often the hardest choice we have to make is to love. MALADAPTATION is a one act of a brother and sister striving to reconcile their past to fight for their future, not only for their own lives, but to save the other from themselves.

Tickets:
FREE!!!!! All of the proceeds will be going to a charity that supports mental health, (hence, the “Pay what you can” option on the website). I will not make a dime off of this show and I couldn’t be happier about it. Here’s the link for tickets.
