BORING BOYS PRODUCTIONS IS PROUD TO ANNOUNCE “THUMB WARS” HAS WON THE ENCORE! PRODUCERS’ AWARD! THE ENCORE! IS AN AWARD CHOSEN BY THE VENUE PRODUCERS THAT HONORS THE “BEST OF THE BEST” AT THE 2015 HOLLYWOOD FRINGE FESTIVAL. THE AWARD IS FOR BOTH ARTISTIC MERIT AND COMMERCIAL POTENTIAL. THIS ORIGINAL 30 MINUTE ONE ACT COMEDY WILL HAVE ONE PERFORMANCE ON JULY 10 AT 9:30PM AT THE FLIGHT THEATER AT THE COMPLEX. TO CELEBRATE THE AWARD, THERE WILL BE COMPLIMENTARY WINE AND BEER. MEMBERS OF THE PRESS WILL ENJOY THE SHOW FREE OF CHARGE.

Written and directed by Sean Boring (creator of the Funny or Die hit Disney Couples Therapy), Thumb Wars shines an absurd light onto the way we communicate and date today; where we rely more on detached interactions (texting) versus holding actual conversations with one another. A comedic one-act of he/said, she /said, misinterpretations and the new realities of dating with your thumbs.
