Come and see Dumas’ classic tale through the twisted lens of the theatrical clown.

The Three Musketeerers: Clowns With Swords is the theatrical clown’s audacious pursuit to retell Dumas’ classic tale through its eyes.

Premiering at The Actor’s Company, part of the 2015 Hollywood Fringe Festival, this is the directorial debut of award-winning fight choreographer Andrew Amani (Hearts Like Fists and Stoneface) and features a rotating cast of Lisa LaBella and Cassandra Gonzales; Alec Tomkiw, Jeff Heapy, and Mauricio Gomez.

This production paints a different portrait than previous adaptations because the focus of this deconstructed examination of Alexandre Dumas’ classic tale is the desires of one of the greatest and most overlooked villains of our time: Milady. Her wants are the root of the story; but how the clowns navigate and aspire to tell the story is the true performance and their play is the theatrical pay dirt.
