About the Play
An aging movie star hides out in the hills after his latest public self-immolation. There’s a crazy ex-girlfriend. A badass movie star best friend. A pair of desperate opportunists. And a ferret. … It’s just another night in L.A.

About the Playwright
Chris Stezin is a writer and actor who lives in Northern Virginia. His plays have been produced at Washington D.C.’s Charter Theater, where he served as Associate Artistic Director for ten years, and other D.C. area theaters. He has received commissions from the National Conservatory of Dramatic Arts, the University of Minnesota, and the Guthrie Theater and has twice been nominated for the Helen Hayes/Charles MacArthur Award for outstanding new play in Washington, D.C. His screenplay Sleeping and Waking, which he adapted from the stage play, was produced by Tontine Films in 2009 and received a limited theatrical release. He is currently the writer in residence at First Draft, a new play development company based in Virginia.
