Mikhail is also releasing two songs from ‘For The Special Ones’ as stand alone singles, an RPG remix of his song Burst The Bubble of Hate and Black Sheep. Aspects of the show can be seen via the internet in the UK after the Hollywood performance, while the companion album will be available worldwide, via

iTunes.

2010 has already been a busy year for Mikhail. He recently lent his uniquely dark vision to the starring role in the video comic Koroliyov that premiered at San Francisco’s Wondercon convention in March, to critical and audience acclaim.
Also in March, he visited Moscow to discuss potential finance and production for his film The Young Rasputin with Mosfilm, and The Konchalovsky Production Center. Mosfilm is one of the oldest studios in Russia (founded 1923) whose output includes most of the more widely acclaimed Soviet films, including works by Tarkovsky and Eisenstein. The Konchalovsky Production Center co-produced the Oscar

nominated The Last Station. Tank is also slated to direct an as yet untitled feature next year, a David Lynch influenced surrealist thriller.

Mikhail Tank first came to the attention of UK audiences when he premiered the Edinburgh Festival Fringe’s first ever virtual show, a one man art concert ‘Soul Photography’ at the 2009 festival. The show

was beamed worldwide with tickets sold via The Fringe. He directed the film ‘My Pretty Pony’ based on the Stephen King short story and dollar-baby-authorised by the writer that also premiered in 2009 at the Oldenburg International Film Festival in Germany to great acclaim.

Mikhail Tank was born in St. Petersburg and moved to Los Angeles in 2003. Since then he has continued parallel careers as an actor, director, musician and writer, bringing the skills he learnt in each to his performance art. As an actor he co-starred opposite Isabella Rossellini in the ABC hit TV show ‘Alias’. In 2005, he played the role of the devil in the Italian film ‘Full Moon’, directed by Lazzaro Ferrari. His own films ‘Believe Smile & Love’ & ‘Disturb Things’ premiered on National JLTV and at the Anchorage

International Film Festival, respectively.
