ENTIER THEATRE COMPANY is proud to announce the world premiere of ZIP TIES, a dark and edgy comedy written by Benjamin Schwartz, directed by Joe Estrella, and produced by Entier Theatre Company & Benjamin Goldberg. The show will be presented at the Hollywood Fringe Festival: ACME Theatre @ The Complex, 6470 Santa Monica Blvd, Los Angeles, CA. The show dates and times are: Sat 06-06-15 @10pm | Thu 06-11-15 @8:45pm | Sat 06-13-15 @5pm | Thu 06-18-15 @10:30pm | Fri 06-19-15 @10:45pm | Fri 06-26-15 @10:14pm | Sat 06-27-15 @11:15 | The show is 1 hour long, and tickets will go on sale 05-01-15.

The play is about two hitmen that have captured a man in a motel room who has just been released from a twenty-year jail sentence. The problem is; neither the man nor his captors have any idea why they are all there. What is The Man’s crime? Why is everyone so clueless? The only thing to do is wait till The Boss arrives to get those answers. In the meantime, there are some unexpected guests that show up.

The cast is composed of a talented group of artists and former fringe vets: Ryan Lisman and Hank Doughan as two hitmen, Saul and Otto. David McCarthy as The Man, Bobby Watson as Paul, a parole officer. Brendan Mulligan as Colin; a Jehova’s witness that doesn’t know when to quit. Jamie Irvine plays the aggressive (and very Irish), The Boss.

Playwright, Benjamin Schwartz on the topic of ZIP TIES says, “As a writer, I want to attack taboo issues, even though they may make my audience feel uncomfortable at times. I don’t want my audience to escape; rather, I want them to reflect on their own lives, and hopefully engage in debate after the show."

Entier Theatre Company was created for theatre artist to connect and collaborate on original works, as well as classics. The company wants to bring the theatre community of actors, designers and directors together for the sole purpose of creating art and sharing it with others.
