Los Angeles, CA – (July 3rd, 2013) – Fancy! A Southern Gothic Camp Parable, the one woman show written and performed by Chris Farah shined at the Hollywood Fringe Festival garnering a Best of Fringe Extension, the first annual Veterans for Virgin Award, and nominated for Best Solo Show. Co-produced by Theatre Planners, Efrain Schunior and Michael Farah, and directed by Kurt Koehler, the limited engagement extension runs July 11th-14th at the Lounge Theatre in Hollywood.

Fancy! is the timeless story of a po’ country girl turned high falutin’ prostitute per the song by Bobbie Gentry and made famous by Reba McEntire. In her solo- show, Chris Farah weaves song, character, and mood into a high-paced, hilarious and electrifying theatre event that simply can’t be missed. For every girl who had to work her way out of something, Fancy will give you something to believe in.

“At the core of Fancy is a message of equality and self-acceptance in the face of adversity, which is the reason I’ve always been enraptured with the song,” said Chris Farah.
