<The tempestuous relationship between Frank Sinatra and Ava Gardner is the subject of FRANK AND AVA, the new play by Willard Manus that will have its world premiere at the 2013 Hollywood Fringe Festival.><Directed by Kelly Galindo and produced by David Svengalis (Mahoobla Productions), FRANK AND AVA will run from June 8 – June 30 at The Three Clubs in Hollywood (a favorite hangout of Sinatra’s, incidentally). >

<Starring in the two-character play are Stefany Northcutt and Rico Simonini, with Ashley McCarthy and Brian Fortuna serving as alternates.><Northcutt’s L.A. theatre debut performance in “Our Beds Were Crowded” was followed by a two-month run at the 2011 New York Fringe Festival in “No Fault.” Among Simonini’s many stage credits are lead roles in “Anna of the Tropics” and “Glengary Glen Ross.” He also appeared recently at Write Act Rep in another play by Willard Manus, “Berlin Cowboys.”><Kelly Galindo, a lifetime member of the Actors Studio (actor & director), teaches at UCLA and at Chapman University/Dodge College of Film & Media Arts. She has worked extensively in film, tv and theatre. She and David Svengalis were the creative team behind “Bridge,” another Manus play which ran for four months in 2012 at Write Act and The Complex’s Ruby Theatre.><Three Clubs, one of Hollywood’s famous cabarets, is located at 1123 Vine Street, L.A. 90038, just north of Santa Monica Boulevard, in Hollywood’s Theatre Row.
