“FIRST FRINGE SHOW CLUB”
PERFORMERS BAND TOGETHER FOR HOLLYWOOD FRINGE FESTIVAL

The “First Fringe Show Club” (FFSC) has been created to support the artistic endeavors of six diverse plays performing in the 2013 Hollywood Fringe Festival taking place June 13-29th by providing one ticket that offers a discounted admission to the first performances of each participating show. The First Fringe Show Club includes: Dick & Jayne Get A Life; I Never Met A Jerk I Didn’t Like; Keena:Unbranded; Babygirl; 3 Actors Tired of Being Rich & Famous and Love Me Richie!

“When my friends started announcing their shows, I realized we would all be competing for the same attention from the same audience to attend our performances,” says FFSC creator and writer/actor/producer Peppur Chambers, “I knew we could all benefit from a centralized promotional effort and truly support each other, which is what Fringe is all about anyway!” With organizational efforts from producer Rana Davis (TARRT Productions), the two coordinated FFSC’s operating format.

First Fringe Show Club will kick off the Hollywood Fringe Festival with a Happy Hour Mixer at Café La Boheme on Monday, June 3rd from 6pm-8pm. FFSC encourages press; bloggers; theater producers and professionals; actors and directors either associated with the Hollywood Fringe or otherwise, to attend this celebratory, informative and ground-breaking mixer. Davis adds, “We’re excited to present a sophisticated, yet fun environment where we can network with other Fringers while championing our collective efforts.”

The Happy Hour Mixer will include a hosted bar at the start. A delicious lounge menu with specialty cocktails will be available for guests to order as they please. RSVP required at [email protected] by Friday, May 31st.

The Hollywood Fringe Festival is an annual, open-access, community-derived event celebrating freedom of expression and collaboration in the performing arts community. Each June during the Hollywood Fringe, the arts infiltrates the Hollywood neighborhood: Fully equipped theaters, parks, clubs, churches, restaurants and other unexpected places host hundreds of productions by local, national, and international arts companies and independent performers. www.hollywoodfringe.org

Café La Boheme opened in November 1991. The “Bohemian Mediterranean” style of new Executive Chef, Paul Kimura, puts a new spin on traditional American Mediterranean fare at this seductive bistro. For a more casual affair, the sexy bar lounge offers its own menu of treats while the semi-private booths downstairs and rock star booths upstairs are surrounded by stunning views of crystal chandeliers and a glowing fireplace. Arguably one of the most romantic spots in L.A., the garden patio boasts a fireplace of its own beautifully framed by roses and greenery…a definite al fresco paradise. Expect a warm welcome, impeccable service, unparalleled cuisine, and chic crowd at this prime destination. Prepare to stimulate all of your senses at Café La Boheme. www.cafelaboheme.us
