A GAY OLD TIME is coming to Hollywood!
Hollywood, CA—If the name Bryan Lee doesn’t sound familiar to you, it soon will. The Hollywood Fringe Festival and The Complex Theatres will be hosting the World Premiere of Bryan Lee’s one-man comedy show GAY OLD TIME in Hollywood. This show will be mounted in the 6470 Theatre for three performances only!
GAY OLD TIME is a wild romp through the classic comedy TV shows of the 1950’s and 1960’s, as seen through the eyes of bruised, battered, and bullied child. Often ridiculed and bullied in school, Bryan would often retreat to his bedroom to watch TV. Too poor to get cable, he was often relegated to watching re-runs of The Three Stooges, I Love Lucy, The Honeymooner’s and Red Skelton.
Join Bryan Lee and his over-active imagination, as these characters come to life, and nurture him through life’s many ups and downs. For the first time ever, watch as these classic comedians tackle the tough subjects like how to deal with a bully, walking into a gay bar for the first time, social progress, and much more!
Bryan Lee is an award-winning speaker, storyteller, comedian, actor and author, and has appeared in the Universal Pictures film SEABISCUIT and on NBC-TV’s The Caroline Rhea Show. In addition, he has graced the stages of comedy clubs from coast-to-coast, and even played the showrooms of Las Vegas. David Letterman writer Jim Wiggins sums it up best, “Bryan Lee is not a comedian, he’s a happening!”
