The Premium Ad Auction
NOTE: These dates apply to the 2012 Festival.
Greetings, Fringers-
To provide an equal opportunity for everyone to benefit from premium ad placement in the Fringe Guide, we have adopted the custom of auctioning off these spaces. The premium ads auction begins tonight at 7pm pacific (Tuesday, April 17) and ends this Friday (April 20) at 7pm pacific. We will send out a reminder email as the auction nears a close.
You can view and bid on the auction by following this link.
This year we have four ads on the block:
- The Back Cover (oooh, ahhhh)
- The Inner Front Cover (one page turn on the left)
- The Left Centerfold
- The Right Centerfold
Only full page ads qualify. You may still bid if you have already purchased a smaller sized ad; you must provide full page art on final payment when the auction ends this week.
Bids start at $500 (the participant cost of a full page ad). If you have already paid for a Fringe ad, the amount you paid will be deducted from the winning bid. There are “buy it now” prices this year for those that want to secure a premium spot before the auction is complete.
Contact us at [email protected] with any questions.

Guide Ads Due
For those of you seeking to place an ad in the printed guide (hint: this is a good idea), we need your artwork uploaded by Sunday, April 15 at midnight pacific so we can make our print deadlines.
Participants: You do not receive a graphical representation of your project with your basic guide listing, so this is how to get your beautiful art included in the guide. Prices are heavily slashed for participants, so make sure to purchase ads while logged in under your Fringe account.
Checkout the ads section of the site to learn how to order print ads.

Listen to the Second Town Hall
Thanks again to everyone who attended the Town Hall this week.
For those of you who couldn’t make it, we have included the following audio track for your listening pleasure.
We begin with about 80 minutes of information on marketing shows then move right into Q & A.
Thanks to the staff and management of Theatre of Arts (the home of Fringe Central 2010) for hosting us this evening. We will have other opportunities to interact as a community as we approach the big dates in June.
Give it a listen!

The Second Fringe Town Hall
Join the Fringe staff and scores of your Fringe cohorts for a Hollywood Fringe Town Hall on Tuesday, April 10th. These are always a good time with lots of socializing and helpful information to ensure a successful Fringe experience.
This time around we are hosting our second Town Hall at Theatre of Arts, the site of the 2010 Fringe Central Mainstage & Box Office.
As soon as the Town Hall wraps up, we move across the road for an informal mixer at a location to be announced.
Can’t make it? Fear not, we are recording the whole thing so anyone can listen.
Please rsvp on facebook or by emailing us at [email protected].
Hope to see everyone there!
